Sheeple

The sheep do not move themselves.

They are driven by opposing forces that appear to be enemies, but function as partners in motion. The ass and the elephant charge from either side, turning fear into movement and movement into compliance.

This artifact is about the political dialectic as herding mechanism: two managed poles, one frightened public, and a pasture already chosen before the stampede begins.
