Moth to a flame

The flame changed shape.

It is no longer only fire. It is the window, the feed, the tower, the screen-wall, the lit surface calling every nervous system upward. The moths know it will destroy them, or they would know if knowing still mattered.

This artifact is about hypnotic attraction: the pull of the glow, the beauty of the trap, and the bodies left beneath the thing everyone keeps flying toward.
